There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
The spring months are: March, April and May. It is warm in spring. New leaves appear on the trees and the flowers blossom. The days get longer and nights shorter .We celebrate Easter in Spring. We wear light clothes. The sun often shines in spring. It often rains in spring, but nature needs spring rains. The spring flowers are snowdrops, violets and rozes. 
The summer months are: June, July and August. It is very hot in summer. That’s why people often go to the country and have a very good time there. Sometimes they go to Sevan or the Black Sea. In summer children have a long school holiday. They don’t go to school and summer camps begin everywhere. Children sometimes go on different educational trips and learn a lot of things about Armenia. People wear very light clothes: sandals, shorts, summer caps, T-shirts. Armenian apricots are ripe in June. The sun always shines brightly in Armenia. July is the hottest month of the year.
The autumn months are: September, October and November. It is still quite warm in Armenia in September. We have golden autumn in October. It is neither hot nor cold and the markets are full of different fruits: peaches, pears, grapes and pomegranates. In November it becomes colder day by day, and sometimes it even snows. The leaves turn red, yellow and orange. Though it often rains in Autumn I like it because in this season we have different fruits. In autumn some birds fly to warmer countries. Animals get ready for the winter.
The winter months are: December, January and February. It is very cold in winter. It snows in winter. Children usually go to the yard and play snowballs and make a snowman. People celebrate the New Year in winter. January is colder than December. It is the coldest month of the year. People wear warm clothes: coats, boots, mittens, hats, jumpers. In winter the days get shorter and the nights longer. I also like winter because I can ski or sledge on the ice or skate with my friends and have a lot of fun.
I like all the seasons of the year because each season has its good sides.
